Code Geass: Akito the Exiled TV Ad Previews 3rd Episode

Commercials for 5.1ch Blu-ray release of both seasons of original series also streamed

The official website for the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled anime project unveiled a new TV commercial for the third episode on Friday. The movie previews some of the scenes from the episode, and also features the anime's opening theme song, "More Than Words" by voice actress and singer Maaya Sakamoto.

Lelouch: Gentlemen, let me entertain you!

The official website also streamed a promotional video for the third episode last December.

The third episode, "Kagayaku Mono Ten Yori Otsu" (Something Sparkling Falling From Heaven), will premiere on May 2. The fourth and final episode, "Nikushimi no Kioku Kara" (From the Memories of Hatred), will premiere on July 4.

The second episode of the series premiered last September, and the third episode was scheduled to premiere this past spring, but it was delayed last March.

In addition, Bandai Visual began streaming TV commercials for the upcoming remastered Blu-ray release of the original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion TV anime, and its second season, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2. The Blu-ray release will include remastered 5.1ch audio. The commercials look back on some of the iconic scenes of both series.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion premiered in Japan in 2006, while Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 premiered in 2008. The Adult Swim network aired both series in North America in 2008.
