Resident Evil Revelations 2's PS4 Frame Rate, PC Co-op Issues Highlighted

CAPCOM offering refunds to PC users due to lack of local co-op

Players have discovered that CAPCOM's new Resident Evil Revelations 2 survival horror game for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC platforms runs at an unstable frame rate on the PlayStation 4. Digital Foundry released two videos that compares the game's frame rate on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In addition, CAPCOM is also offering refunds to those who purchased the game through Steam for the PC. The game was advertised as having local co-op play on PC, but shipped without this feature.

CAPCOM explained that, "The PC version of Resident Evil Revelations 2 supports a variety of customisable visual settings and resolutions. The decision to prioritise a single local screen was made to ensure a stable user experience across a variety of different PC settings and devices. Raid mode will support online co-op shortly after launch when a free patch is available for players to download which adds this feature, but the main campaign on PC will only be available to play in single local screen."
