Bandai Namco Games began streaming on Wednesday a TV spot for Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryū no Rondo tr. (with tr. pronounced as 'Trill.'), the upcoming PlayStation Vita game inspired by Sunrise's Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryū no Rondo (CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon) anime.
Ange: What did you say!? Cross Ange is being turned into a game!?
Text: Dramatic x Shooting action
Ange: so everyone can enjoy our new drama and high-speed action, right? OK, then it's time for me to show off my strength- Wait, who's this girl!? What do you MEAN I'm not the main character!?
Bandai Namco Games will release the game in Japan sometime this spring.
The game will star a new original protagonist character named Naomi, who is fighting alongside the Normas in order to return a monetary debt. The player will take control of Naomi, and choose which Norma heroines for her to form trusting relationships with. In order to survive, the player will also take part in shooting sections in order to fight dragons.
The game is separated into three parts: the drama part where the story progresses, the customizing part, where the player customizes Naomi's Para-mail with parts bought with money from killing dragons, and the battle part, where Naomi fights incoming foes. By increasing friendships with the Normas in Arzenal during the drama part, Naomi might receive support during battle from those she has befriended.
The Sunrise television anime premiered in Japan in October, Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the series in North America. The series entered its second half earlier this month.
