Durarara!! Characters Appear in Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker Game

Famitsu magazine reported last week that the characters from Ryohgo Narita's Durarara!! light novel series (and subsequent anime and manga series) will appear in Atlus' Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker game. The characters Celty, Izaya Orihara, and Shizuo Heiwajima are confirmed to appear in the 3DS game. The magazine also shows the characters participating in battles.
Japanese players can get the characters via SpotPass. Izaya Orihara will be available on January 29 to February 4, Heiwajima will be available on February 5-11, and Celty will be available on February 12-18.
Durarara!! light novel artist Suzuhito Yasuda is also the character designer for the Devil Survivor 2 games.
Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker (Devil Survivor 2 Break Record in Japan) is a port of the Nintendo DS game Devil Survivor 2, but will continue the story after the original left off and introduce a new character, Miyako Hotsuin. Players have the option of skipping to the new content.
Atlus will ship the game on January 29, 2015 in Japan after several delays. Atlus USA will release the game with a fully voiced English dub this year. Amazon is listing a release date of April 7.
