Elemental Gelade's Azuma to Launch Amadeus Code Manga
posted on by Egan Loo
The January 2015 issue of Monthly Comic Garden Magazine Magazine is announcing on Friday that Mayumi Azuma (Elemental Gelade) and Tatsurō Nakanishi (Crown) will launch the Amadeus Code manga in the following issue on January 5. The first chapter of the "new mobile weapon fantasy" will have a color opening page.
The magazine has the following teaser tagline for the new series, "The place where the 24 girls woke up is an enclosed space lined with countless giant statues."
Azuma serialized Elemental Gelade (Erementar Gerad) in Monthly Comic Blade, the magazine that Monthly Comic Garden replaced, from 2002 to 2009. Tokyopop published part of the manga in North America, and Digital Manga picked up the license in 2012. Geneon released its 2005 television anime adaptation. Azuma also drew a Space Battleship Yamato 2199 manga from last year until this year.
