Tokyo Ghoul carnaval Smartphone Game Teased in Video
posted on by Karen Ressler
Bandai Namco Games began streaming a teaser promotional video for its upcoming Tokyo Ghoul carnaval smartphone game on Tuesday. The video features narration by voice actor Natsuki Hanae as his character Ken.
Ken: I'm not the protagonist of a novel or anything. I'm just a normal book-loving college student you'd find anywhere. But... If I were to write a single work with myself as the protagonist, it would surely be... A tragedy.
Ken: This world is wrong. The one who's twisted is...! The one who's twisted is...!
Ken: Tokyo Ghoul carnaval.
Ken: I am a ghoul.
In the smartphone app game, players can freely explore a 3D map and choose from a number of ghoul and investigator characters to make a dream team. The play style of the ghouls and investigators differ. The game is free to download, but has in-game purchases available.
The website for the game is currently accepting pre-registration for the game, which is scheduled to be released in Japan sometime in 2015. Those who pre-register for the "action game that draws you in" will receive a super-rare Kaneki card when the game begins.
The second anime season based on Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul manga will premiere on January 8 on Tokyo MX.
