Appleseed Alpha's Aramaki Makes Music Video for Film's Theme Song

Prolific mechanical designer and Appleseed Alpha film director Shinji Aramaki created an original music video for the film's theme song, "Depth" by Yasutaka Nakata featuring Toshiko Koshijima. Nakata produced music for the anime series Getsumen to Heiki Mina, and the One Piece Film Z and Sora Tobu Toshi Keikaku films, and he also serves as producer for bands such as Capsule and Perfume.
The full version of the music video will be included with the first-pressing limited edition when it ships in Japan on January 14.
Appleseed Alpha, a CG-animated film inspired by Masamune Shirow's science-fiction manga Appleseed, will get a theatrical release across Japan starting on January 17. The film already shipped in North America with an English dub in July.
