posted on by Kyle Cardine
Nexon Korea began streaming a trailer for the upcoming Ghost in the Shell: First Connection Online game on Wednesday during the G-STAR 2014 game exhibition.
The trailer features the game's first-person shooter gameplay and previews mechanics found within the game. Players can choose from multiple attributes: Speed, which increases a character's overall agility; Power, which gives the players weapons such as arm rockets; Stealth, which allows players to become invisible; Detect, which lets players see incoming enemies or use recon robots, and Support, which allows players to build turrets. Skill Share also combines team strength and helps with assists.
Nexon announced in 2012 that the company had signed an agreement with Japanese publisher Kodansha to develop and release a PC online game based on the anime titles Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society. Nexon expected to launch the "Hacking FPS" game in early 2014, but has not yet done so. No release date was given in the most recent announcement.
