The announcement was made via AnimeLab's facebook page. The first five episodes are already available to watch with Japanese audio and English subtitles on AnimeLab.com, just click here and scroll down to view season 2.
New episodes of Psycho-Pass 2 will be added weekly to AnimeLab.com, we believe this will be in line with the Japanese broadcast schedule.
Madman Entertainment has yet to announce when a home video release of Psycho-Pass 2 will hit Australian and New Zealand shores.

Psycho-Pass 2
Having learned the true nature of the Sybilla System, Akane Tsunemori chose to obey the system, believing in both humanity and the legal order. She's part of a new police section and spends her everyday life facing down criminals. Unbeknownst to Akane, however, a monster who will shake the system to its core is about to appear before her.
Psycho-Pass 2 premiered in October on Fuji TV's late-night Noitamina programming block and continues the story of the original Psycho Pass anime that screened in 2012.
Naoyoshi Shiotani (Blood-C: The Last Dark) returned to direct the series alongside season 1 composer Yūgo Kanno (Gundam: Reconguista in G), but Tow Ubukata (Fafner, Mardock Scramble) is now handling the series composition with Jun Kumagai (Persona 4 the Golden Animation) writing scripts. Tatsunoko Production has replaced Production I.G as the animation production studio. Psycho-Pass season 1's series composer, Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero) is helping out with planning supervision and the story concept. Ling Tosite Sigure performs the opening theme "Enigmatic Feeling" and EGOIST performs the ending theme "Fallen."
Funimation licensed Psycho-Pass 2 and has included the series as part of their broadcast dubs strategy with English dubs available a month behind their Japanese subs. However the English dubs are (currently) only available to Funimation subscribers.
Madman Entertainment acquired Psycho-Pass in 2013 and streamed the series later that year. The series was released to home video on Blu-ray and DVD in May 2014 and is now available to watch for free in it's entirety on AnimeLab.com.
