Before the Fall's Kyklo arc & Ryō Kawakami's Harsh Mistress of the City with Range Murata art

North American publisher Vertical announced at its New York Comic Con panel on Saturday that it will publish the Kyklo arc of Ryo Suzukaze's Attack on Titan: Before the Fall light novel series and Ryō Kawakami's Attack on Titan: Harsh Mistress of the City light novel. Vertical is already publishing the first arc of Suzukaze's Attack on Titan: Before the Fall prequel light novel series with illustrations by THORES Shibamoto. It is releasing both volumes of the Kyklo arc together (as they were in Japan) next summer.

Attack on Titan: Harsh Mistress of the City (Kakuzetsu Toshi no Jōō) debuted in Japan in August with illustrations by Range Murata (Last Exile, Blue Submarine No. 6, Shangri-La). Vertical will publish it next fall. Kodansha describes the story:

The future that was taken for granted was broken by the attack of the Titans. Wall Maria was pierced, and even in the Quinta District where Mathias and his allies live, Titans appear. Due to this, the line of supplies is cut off from the country, and the citizens begin to panic. Rita, a soldier who had joined the brigade of occupation troops, tries to protect the town that has fallen into chaos, but due to the forceful methods the brigade put into action using actual Titans, the entire city becomes afraid. In order to meet up with Rita, Mathias takes the helping hands of a band of thieves...

Vertical also confirmed the releases of previously announced titles: the Prophecy volume 1 manga by Tetsuya Tsutsui in November, the My Neighbor Seki (Tonari no Seki-kun) manga by Takuma Morishige in January 2015, the Dream Fossil: The Complete Collection of Satoshi Kon anthology in summer 2015, and A Sky Longing for Memories: The Art of Makoto Shinkai book in May 2015.
