Pony Canyon began streaming a new character introduction video on Friday for the upcoming original anime series Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru. The video introduces new cast member Suzuko Mimori (Btooom!, Love Live!) as Mimori Tōgo.
Mimori: Hero, go!
Mimori: I'm Mimori Tōgo.
Text: A responsible second-year student and member of the Hero Club.
Mimori: My friend Yūna is full of energy. Though, she has a bit too much energy, and it gets me worried a bit.
Text: If everyone is here with me, I'm not afraid.
Text: If there's a will, there will be a way to solve most anything!
Mimori: Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru. Broadcasting in October.
Mimori will be joining Haruka Terui as Yūki Yūna, Yumi Uchiyama as Fu Inubozaki, and Tomoyo Kurosawa as Itsuki Inubozaki.
Seiji Kishi (Persona 4 The Animation, Danganronpa The Animation) is directing the series based on an original plan by Takahiro (Akame ga KILL!) at Studio Gokumi. Makoto Uezu is handling series composition and BUNBUN is designing the characters.
The story takes place in the era of the gods, year 300. Yūna Yūki lives an ordinary life as a second year middle school student, but she's also a member of the "Hero Club," where club activities involve dealing with a mysterious being called "Vertex."
The series will air on MBS' "Animeism" block in starting in October.
