New Bakumatsu Rock Game to Bundle Bonus Anime Episode

Famitsu began streaming a promotional video on Friday announcing Marvelous AQL's PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable game Bakumatsu Rock: Ultra Soul. The game will get an "Ultra Soul Box" limited edition release bundled with an OVA episode titled "Mystery! Onsen de Kaijiken ze yo!!" (Mystery! Myserious event at the Hot Springs!!).
In the episode's story, Ryōma and the other go relax at a beautiful hot springs, but a murder case begins at their inn. The victim has the mysterious number "69" written on the back of their leg.
The promotional video plays clips from the game and first episode of the television anime, and also introduces two new cast members: Junichi Sawabe as self-proclaimed "God of Rock" Matthew Calbraith Perry Jr. and vistlip's Yuh as J (John Manjirō), both of the United States Navy.
Famitsu also began streaming two 30-second commercials for the game:
The game will ship in Japan on September 25, and a limited number of first-run copies will include a drama CD titled "Gakuen Rock Cli! Max! Senkyo Battle" (Academy Rock Climax! Election Battle).
The original Bakumatsu Rock game shipped for the PlayStation Portable in February. The game's anime adaptation premiered last week. Sentai Filmworks licensed the series and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.
