Live-Action Kami-sama no Iu Toori Film Slated for November 15

This year's 32nd issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that the live-action film adaptation of Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Akeji Fujimura's Kami-sama no Iu Toori (As the Gods Will) manga is slated to open in Japan on November 15. The magazine confirms that Mio Yūki (live-action Hakuba no Ōji-sama, Flying Goldfish & the Secret of the World) will play Shōko Takase in the film.
The issue includes comments from Yūki and Sōta Fukushi (live-action Library Wars/Toshokan Sensō), who stars as Shun Takahata. Hirona Yamazaki (Lesson of the Evil, Kyō, Koi o Hajimemasu) will play Shun's childhood friend Ichika Akimoto, and Ryunosuke Kamiki (Summer Wars, Howl's Moving Castle, Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen) will play Shun's violence-loving classmate Takeru Amaya.
Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, Crows Zero) is directing the film.
