Nintendo Discussing More Metroid in 2D & 3D
posted on by Egan Loo
Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto and Shinya Takahashi told the Kotaku website that the company has been having internal discussions about what it can do next for the Metroid game franchise. Takahashi, who would be in charge of any hypothetical future Metroid project, noted that Nintendo has now released Metroid games in both traditional 2D and 3D (Metroid Prime). "We feel that we do need to take care of both of these styles of play. And the hope is that at some point in the near future we'll be able to share something about them."
