Viz Media: Amazon Disabling Preorders Until Contracts Finalized

Viz Media responded to a question on its Facebook page on Thursday regarding the inability to preorder certain titles on the online retailer Amazon.

According to Viz Media, its distributor Warner Bros. is currently negotiating contract details with Amazon and Amazon has disabled preorders until the negotiations are resolved.

The company recently disabled preorders on Hachette titles, including its manga imprint Yen Press. The Amazon Books team issued a statement on Tuesday stating it is "not optimistic that this will be resolved soon."
