Nintendo Trademarks 'Delta Emerald' in Japan

Nintendo filed a trademark for "Delta Emerald" in Japan on May 2 and it was made public on Thursday. The title is similar to Nintendo's recently announced Pokémon remakes: Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Pokémon Emerald was released in Japan in 2004 and in North America in 2005. The game is an enhanced remake of Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire.
