The June issue of Kodansha's Shonen Sirius magazine will announce on Saturday that Rensuke Oshikiri's Yūyami Tokkōtai manga will end in the following issue on May 26. The 12th volume of Yūyami Tokkōtai announced that the 13th volume will be the series' last.
The story follows Jōhei Tsuji, a high school freshman who swore revenge on the spirits that killed his beloved sister. At school he meets Yayori Hanaoka, the "captain" of his high school's Psychic Detective Club and her "staff member" Kaede Koshijima.
Oshikiri currently serializes the arcade romantic comedy Hi Score Girl (High Score Girl) in Square Enix's Big Gangan magazine. The manga has an anime in the works. His Pupipō! horror comedy manga ran in the free web comic magazine Flex Comix Blood from 2007 to 2009. The series inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in December.
