Nana Mizuki's Supernal Liberty Album Tops Weekly Chart

Supernal Liberty, the 10th original album from voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki, sold about 76,000 copies to top Oricon's album sales chart for the April 14-20 week. The April 16 album is Mizuki's second to rank #1, after her seventh album Ultimate Diamond accomplished the same feat four years and 10 months ago in June 2009. She was the first voice actress or voice actor with a #1 album on Oricon's weekly chart.

Supernal Liberty is Mizuki's first new album in about 16 months. (Her Rockbound Neighbors album debuted in December 2012 at #2 on Oricon's chart.) Supernal Liberty has 15 tracks including "Appassionato" (the new song she wrote herself) and a cover of Dreams Come True's "Egao no Yukue."
