Funimation to Release One Piece Film: Z on Home Video

Release slated for Fall; cast announcement upcoming
North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment announced on Monday that it has acquired the home video rights for One Piece Film Z in the United States and Canada. The film is slated for release in Fall 2014.
The film's Blu-ray and DVD will ship in Japan on June 28. One Piece manga creator Eiichiro Oda personally served as an executive producer on the film, which is the 12th film in the franchise. Avril Lavigne contributed her songs "Bad Reputation" and "How You Remind Me."
