The official website for Square Enix's Monthly Big Gangan magazine lists four new series and one short that will premiere in its upcoming issues.
Two series will premiere in the magazine's fifth issue, which ships on April 25.
Tōhyō Game - Anata ni Kuroki Ippyō o will be written by Gō (Himawari PC game) and drawn by Tatsuhiko (Natsu-iro Kiseki manga). Chihiro will handle the series composition. The "school survival horror" story is about a seemingly ordinary game that becomes popular in class, but then it brings about tragedy. The students must survive the "voting game" and discover its secret.
Ryukishi07 and Mitsunori Zaki's Rose Gun Days Last Season will be the story's "heroic final chapter." The series was already announced in Gangan Joker.
Three series will premiere in the magazine's sixth issue, which ships on May 24.
The "local hero story" Kōmu desu kara! (Because It's Duty!) will be written by Iku Sakaguchi with art from Yū Shimizu.
Ikki Yakō is written by Yu Morikawa and adapts Emel Komatsu's short story collection of the same name. The stories takes place five years after the fall of the shogunate, and follow a misanthropic young shopkeeper named Kizo. One day an impudent child named Koharu appears and starts living at his house. Koharu carries a mysterious power and claims to have strayed from a procession of monsters.
The manga short Musei no Setsuoni ~Ōma no Ketsumyaku~, written by Shingi Hosokawa, continues Hosokawa's Musei no Setsuoni manga. The action story follows boy named Towa who hunts the Maen, humanity's natural enemy. He knows of a gathering of mighty Maen in the farthest ends of the earth, where there is a holy temple that was once a cursed site of a massacre.
