Funimation Adds New Fairy Tail Anime

North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment announced on Thursday that it will stream the new Fairy Tail television anime series. The company has not yet confirmed a premiere date, but the anime is slated to premiere this Saturday, April 5 in Japan.

Takeuchi is replacing Aoi Yamamoto as character designer, while Bridge is replacing Satelight as one of the studios animating the series. BoA is performing the opening theme song "Masayume Chasing" (Prophetic Dream Chasing), while BREATHE is performing the ending theme song "Kimi to Kare to Boku to Kanojo to" (You, He, Me, and She).
