School of Monsters Manga by Senyū's Haruhara Gets Flash Anime
posted on by Egan Loo
The May issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine is announcing on Friday that a Flash anime adaptation of Gakumon! ~Ōkami Shōjo wa Kujikenai~ (School of Monsters! Wolf Girl Won't Give Up), the new monster school comedy from Senyū. creator Robinson Haruhara, has already been green-lit. Haruhara is just starting the manga in same May issue.
The story centers around Shushu (center left in image), a girl who enrolls into a monster school as a "wolfman candidate." However, she keeps the fact that she is a girl a secret. Yumi Uchiyama will play Shushu, and Hiro Shimono will play Juzu (top left), the taciturn son of the school's principal. The other characters include the dorm head Timido, Shushu's class representative Kiisu Fraigaa (far right), and Kiisu's teddy bear sidekick Bear-tan.
Kenshirō Morii (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere web videos) is directing the anime at Studio Moriken (Attack on Titan Chimi Chara Gekijō). Sōshi Iguchi is designing the characters, and Shintarō Mori (Love Live! School idol project opening "Bokura wa Ima no Naka de") is composing the music.
The Flash anime will start running on the Niconico video service and other venues on April 25. Haruhara's Senyū. comedy manga also inspired an anime last year.
