Magi: Adventure of Sinbad Part II Anime Slated for August Release

This year's 16th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is announcing on Wednesday that the second volume of the Magi: Sinbad no Bōken (Magi: Adventure of Sinbad) anime project is slated for an advance screening at the Magi Fes event in June, followed by a release in August.
The first anime for Shinobu Ohtaka and Yoshifumi Ōtera's manga will come with the special edition of the manga's third compiled volume, which will ship in Japan on May 16. Tomokazu Sugita will reprise his role as Dragul (Drakon), and Akira Ishida will also return as Yunan. Joining the cast are Katsuyuki Konishi (Silver Spoon, Kill la Kill, Hetalia) as Badr, Yōko Hikasa (Nobunaga The Fool, Infinite Stratos 2, High School DxD) as Esra, and Ai Kayano (Valvrave the Liberator, anohana, Oreshura) as Serendine. Daisuke Ono will return to play the young Sinbad.
