Crunchyroll Streams She & Her Cat, 'Cross Road,' More for Shinkai Day

The media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will participate in Global Shinkai Day, a worldwide "online film festival" celebrating the works of director Makoto Shinkai. Crunchyroll will host 5 Centimeters Per Second, The Place Promised in Our Early Days, Voices of a Distant Star, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, and starting this year, She and Her Cat and "Cross Road" commercial from Friday to Monday. The films will be available to all members worldwide excluding Japan.
The site is also hosting a contest for fans to take a photograph reenacting a scene from their favorite Shinkai film. Winners will receive signed copies of 5 Centimeters Per Second, Children Who Chase Lost Voices and Garden of Words.
