Inou-Battle & NouCome Novelists Announce Marriages on White Day

posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Other light novelists announce their recent marriages (or lack of) in response

Light novel author Kota Nozomi announced on his Twitter account on Friday — White Day in Japan — that he has gotten married. He mentioned that since he just got an anime adaptation of his Inō-Battle wa Nichijō-kei no Naka de (Inou-Battle in the Usually Daze) light novels green-lit, it would be cool if he had made a promise like in Bakuman. However, he explained that in reality, he had told his girlfriend (who he met when he was in middle school) that he would think seriously about getting married if he got an anime adaptation of one of his works.

In response to this, multiple light novel authors posted their marriage announcements as well, including My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy's Takeru Kasukabe (who got married on White Day), and Amane Miyazawa (who got married last week). Haganai novel writer Yomi Hirasaki wrote:

I got married...

I wish.
