posted on by Egan Loo
A special animation video began streaming on smartphones to celebrate the first anniversary of The IDOLM@STER Million Live! idol group producing game. In the video, the character Kasuga Mirai listens in anticipation to her many fans' wonderful cheering before her first performance. Thrilled, she thanks her producer before entering the stage.
After logging during the anniversary campaign that began on February 27, all players receive a free "SR Million Spark! Kasuga Mirai" card that included this special animation video.
As part of the celebration, players will receive original goods via stubs in randomly distributed Platinum Gasha and events. The A Prize stub will earn 60 players an original digital photo frame with recorded idol voices, while the B Prize stub will earn 3,000 players a set of three original clear file folders.
A limited-time SR card will come in a set with a ticket.
A player's 11th 3,000-coin Gasha round is free, including a possible new "1st Anniversary Million Spark Live Gasha" card.
There is also a drama theater contest using the game's drama-making feature. Judges and players will select the winning entries, which will actually be voiced by the cast.
Finally, the game will receive a major version upgrade this year. Plus, The IDOLM@STER: Million Live 1st Live "Happy Performance!!" concert will be held at Tokyo's Nakano Sun Plaza.
