Yen Press to Print 3 Haruhi Suzumiya Anthologies in 1 Volume
posted on by Andre Pappas
Publisher Hachette Book Group confirmed with ANN on Tuesday that it will release a 528-page single-volume omnibus for three Haruhi Suzumiya anthologies. This collection of manga and illustrations by various artists will ship on October 28 under the title The Celebration of Haruhi Suzumiya. It will retail for US$26.00.
Kadokawa Shoten published the three anthologies in 2009 under the titles Suzumiya Haruhi no Kyōen, Suzumiya Haruhi no Shukusai, and Suzumiya Haruhi no Kenran. A fourth anthology, Kyon to Koizumi no Sainan, centered around the characters Kyon and Koizumi.
Starting in April of 2009, Little, Brown Books for Young Readers began publishing Nagaru Tanigawa's original Haruhi Suzumiya light novels in English. The story revolves around a weird but beautiful girl named Haruhi Suzumiya who convinces (or drags) several of her high school mates into joining a club that explores extraordinary phenomena and other hi-jinks.
