PlayStation 4 Reaches 6 Million Units Sold Worldwide

John Koller, Sony Computer Entertainment America's vice president of marketing for home consoles and handheld platforms, announced that Sony has sold six million PlayStation 4 units worldwide.
According to Koller, 90 percent of PS4s are online with more than 3.6 million live broadcasts, and more than 56 million spectate sessions on PS4 through Twitch and Ustream. Since January 1, PS4 gamers account for 20 percent of daily broadcasters on Twitch.
Famitsu reported a total of 322,083 PlayStation 4 units sold during the console's launch weekend in Japan on February 22-23. Sony sold one million PlayStation 4 consoles in the first 24 hours since its launch in the United States and Canada in November.
