New Gundam: After Jabro Mini-Series Will Launch This Month

In conjunction with Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday 55th anniversary celebration, Junya Arai's new mini-series titled Gundam - After Jabro will be published in Shonen Sunday's May issue on March 24 According to the official advertisement, Gundam - After Jabro is a "story of betrayal and the rebirth that disappeared." Jabro refers to the headquarters of the Earth Federation Forces located on Earth. The first chapter will be 46 pages.
Last September, Arai won first place in the Universal Century Comic Big Prize (Uchuu Seiki Kommiku Taishō), a collaborative contest held by Shonen Sunday and Gundam to find new manga artist for Gundam manga series.
The 14th issue of Shonen Sunday magazine is announcing on Wednesday that 55 manga series will launch in the print and online publications Weekly Shonen Sunday, Shōnen Sunday S, Ura Sunday, and Club Sunday over the course of a year, beginning in March. All of these new manga will celebrate the 55th anniversary of Shonen Sunday; the first issue was published in March 1959.
