Taiwanese Network Fined US$7,000 for Sword Art Online Episode

Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC) fined the CTV network 210,000 New Taiwan dollars (about US$7,000) on Wednesday for a Sword Art Online episode that allegedly depicted rape. NCC said that the episode which CTV ran on December 4 showed a male villain (Sugō) wanting to rape the heroine (Asuna), and it described a scene from episode 24 of the anime.
The site NOWnews added the mosaic on the tongue seen in the image to the right; the episode did not run on CTV with this mosaic.
