posted on by Egan Loo
Media service Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it is streaming the two Squid Girl original anime DVDs. The service began streaming the episodes to Premium subscribers worldwide (except Asia) at 7:00 p.m. ET, and the episodes will be available to free members on February 19 at the same time.
The first episode is made of three mini-episodes: "Ink You Can Break It?", "Squidn't That Normal?", and "Wanna Play Hide and Seak?" It shipped in Japan on a DVD with the 12th limited-edition volume of Masahiro Anbe's original manga in 2012. The second episode — with mini-episodes "Is That a Squiddie Pool?", "Squidn't This Your Mom?", and "Inking a Message in a Bottle?" — shipped with the 14th manga volume last June.
Crunchroll also began streaming the first season of the Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! anime at 8:00 p.m. ET. The first three episodes are available for free in the United States and Canada now, with three more episodes added every week. Sentai Filmworks previously streamed this season on The Anime Network as it aired in Japan in 2012. Crunchyroll is now streaming the second season as it airs in Japan.
