posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Manga creator Yugi Yamada reported last Tuesday that she will resume the Mahoro Eki-Mae Tada Benri-ken and Uchi no Kamisama ni ha Gakkari da manga this month. Mahoro Eki-Mae Tada Benri-ken runs in Hakusensha's Melody magazine, and Uchi no Kamisama ni wa Gakkari da runs in Tokuma Shoten's Chara magazine. The April issues of Chara and Melody are due out on February 22 and 28, respectively.
Yamada added on Monday that she will resume the boys-love workplace romance manga Isshō Tsuzukerarenai Shigoto in the May issue of Rejin magazine on April 9. She is also drawing a short manga and the cover illustration for Rejin Bravo, which will ship on March 13. Her schedule is still clear for the time being after that, but she plans to continue her manga serializations at a relaxed pace.
Yamada reported last August that she received positive results from her medical exam and she may be able to resume her manga series by the end of the year or in early 2014. The second and most recent volume of Mahoro Eki-Mae Tada Benri-ken came out in March 2011, and the second volume of Isshō Tsuzukerarenai Shigoto came out in December 2011.
Several of Yamada's boys-love manga titles have been released in English, including Close the Last Door, Don't Blame Me, Dry Heat, Glass Sky, Laugh Under the Sun, No One Loves Me, Picnic, and Spring Fever (Aurora Publishing). Digital Manga published most of these titles in North America.
