posted on by Egan Loo
Sony confirmed on Monday that it will bring the new PlayStation Vita model, which it introduced at Tokyo Game Show last year, to North America this spring. The slim PS Vita (PCH-2000 series) will be available in a bundle with Borderlands 2.
The new PS Vita Wi-Fi model is about 20 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter than the original. It comes with 1GB of internal memory, a new LCD display, and a battery that Sony claims will last for 4-6 hours of game play (compared to the original model's 3-5 hours).
The US$199.99 limited-edition Borderlands 2 bundle will include an 8GB memory card along with six downloadable content (DLC) packs: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Psycho Character Class, Mechromancer Character Class, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 and the Collector's Edition Pack.
