Dengeki Daisy's Motomi to Launch QQ Sweeper Manga
posted on by Karen Ressler
The March issue of Shogakukan's Betsucomi shojo manga magazine is announcing on Thursday that Kyousuke Motomi is launching a new manga series. The series, which is titled QQ Sweeper, will begin in the April issue on March 13.
The manga's ad uses the tagline "brush away all the soot of the heart." The "cleaning story of love and bravery(!!)" follows Kyūtarō, who never leaves a speck of dust behind when he "cleans." One day, he meets a girl who wants to be his apprentice.
Motomi ended Dengeki Daisy in October. The 16th and final compiled volume will ship in Japan on February 26 as both a regular and a special edition (with an illustrated deck of playing cards). Viz licensed the manga under the Shojo Beat imprint, and published the 13th compiled volume in December. Both the English and Japanese versions of the manga have ranked on the lists of top-selling books in their respective countries.
