This year's 10th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that four new series will join its manga lineup over the next four issues. The "winter revolution" will begin with the fantasy crime action series Illegal Rare (top right in image) by Hiroshi Shiibashi (Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan). This new title will begin in the 11th issue on February 10.
Toshinori Takayama will then launch the "mobile petit omnibus romantic comedy" iShōjo (top left) in the 12th issue on February 17. This will be the first Weekly Shonen Jump series for Takayama, who has published works in the spinoff magazine Jump Next! and the smartphone app Jump Live. He also drew the Reborn! spinoff series Vongola GP Kuru! from the inaugural issue of Saikyō Jump magazine in 2010 until 2012.
Next, author Ryohgo Narita (Durarara!!, Baccano!) and artist Yōichi Amano (Over Time) will start the "new sensational fantasy" Stealth Symphony (bottom right) in the 13th issue on February 24. Finally, Kento Shimoyama (anime series script supervisor on Bleach and Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals) and Tsunehiro Date will start the "great comeback soccer story" Tokyo Wonder Boys (bottom left) in the 14th issue on March 3. The story will follow a soccer team on the verge of dissolution.
