A Town Where You Live/Kimi no Iru Machi Manga to End
posted on by Egan Loo
This year's eighth issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Kouji Seo will end his Kimi no Iru Machi (A Town Where You Live) manga in the 11th issue on February 12. In addition, the manga's editor teases that the original anime DVD that will be bundled with the manga's 27th volume will adapt the manga's finale. The 27th manga volume will also have an exclusive "delusional chapter 200" spinoff centering on Nagato.
The 27th manga volume will ship with this original anime DVD on March 17.
The manga begins with Yuzuki Eba, a girl who suddenly moves from Tokyo into the countryside home of a high school boy named Haruto Kirishima. Seo launched the school romantic comedy in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2008 after ending his earlier Suzuka manga in the same magazine in 2007.
In addition to Gonzo's television anime adaptation that aired last year, the manga also inspired three earlier original video anime volumes.
Update: Kodansha's preview for this upcoming Weekly Shōnen Magazine issue mistakenly listed that it would have information on an original anime DVD bundled with the 28th manga volume. However, the issue only has information on the original anime DVD bundled with the 27th manga volume.
