Retailers List Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha OVA Bundled with Manga

Retailers Mangaoh Club and Amazon are both listing that the eighth volume of Morohe Yoshida's Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha romantic comedy manga will have a limited edition that will include an original anime on a Blu-ray Disc. The Blu-ray Disc will ship on June 26 for 4,410 yen (about US$42).
The retailer description notes that the manga will bundle an unaired "episode 11." The episode will revolve around the actions of Inari and Kon (in her human form). The set will also include a special manga cover and a tall case.
The manga revolves around Inari Fushimi, a shy, not-so-bright middle school girl living in Kyoto's Fushimi ward. She has a crush on her classmate Tanbabashi, but cannot express her feelings. One day, as thanks for helping a fox pup, the deity Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami grants her the ability to shape-shift.
The manga is inspiring a television anime series that will premiere on January 15. The anime will star Naomi Ōzora as Inaru Fushimi, Houko Kuwashima as Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami, Hiroshi Okamoto as Kōji Tanbabashi, and Sayuri Hara as Kon.
Funimation announced last month that it will stream the series.
