New Live-Action Rurouni Kenshin Sequels' Photos Feature Kenshin vs. Sōjirō

The 48th issue of Kakken Marketing's Cinema★Cinema magazine published new still images from this year's two live-action Rurouni Kenshin sequel films on Monday. The new screens show Kenshin facing off against Shishio Makoto and Sōjirō Seta.
Principal photography on the two films ended on December 27 after six months of filming.
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire) will open in Japan on August 1, and Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: The End of a Legend) will open on September 13. Both films had originally been slated to open next summer.

The first live-action Rurouni Kenshin film opened in Japan in August 2012. The film had its North American premiere in Los Angeles in December 2012.
