The official website for the anime of Touka Takei's Kanojo ga Flag o Oraretara light novel series began streaming a promotional video on Sunday.
The video features narration by Ibuki Kido as Nanami Knight Bladefield, who lists the various kinds of "flags," including life, death, victory, loss, and romance. She explains that these powerful items can change fates, and gives the example of a victory flag changing the tide of a losing battle. She tells viewers that one day, a person named Sōta who has the ability to control "flags" appeared in front of her.
The series will star:
Ryota Ohsaka as Sōta Hatate | Ibuki Kido as Nanami Knight Bladefield |
Ai Kayano as Akane Mahōgasawa | Kana Asumi as Kikuno Shōkanji |
Kana Hanazawa as Megumu Tōzokuyama | Yōko Hikasa as Rin Eiyūzaki |
Ayaka Suwa as Ruri Ninjabayashi | Aoi Yūki as Serika Ginyūin |
Takei's original romantic comedy light novel series revolves around Sōta Hatate, a boy who has the unique ability to see "Flags" above the heads of other people. The "Flags" mark critical crossroads in people's lives — when the choices they make will determine love, friendship, victory, and even death. He transfers into Tokyo's elite Hatagaya Academy, but instead of living by himself in the boys' dormitory, he ends up living with five beautiful girls under one roof.
Ayumu Watanabe (Space Brothers) is directing the anime off scripts supervised by Takashi Aoshima (Kotoura-san, Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily). Shizue Kaneko (Mysterious Girlfriend X) is designing the characters. The anime will be produced by Hoods Entertainment (The Qwaser of Stigmata, Manyū Hiken-chō).
The anime will premiere in April.
