Back-On to Perform New Gundam Build Fighters Opening Theme

Sunrise's official website for the Gundam Build Fighters television anime series announced on Monday that rock band Back-On will perform the show's new opening theme song. The "wimp ft. Lil' Fang (from FAKY)" song will premiere in the series in January. Lil' Fang is the vocalist of the international five-girl group FAKY, who will perform the ending theme song for the spring 2014 sequel series Cardfight!! Vanguard: Legion Mate-Hen.
The "anime version" Back-On and Lil' Fang's song will get a digital release on January 13 before a compilation CD featuring the full song ships on March 12. Back-On previously performed the first opening theme song for the series. The group has also performed theme songs for Eyeshield 21, Air Gear, and Murder Princess.
Musical performer and composer Hayadain (Nichijou - My Ordinary Life, Toriko, Kuroko's Basketball, Bakuman.) will perform the new ending theme song "Han Pan Spirit."
Gundam Build Fighters premiered in October, and Sunrise is streaming the series in the United States and Canada as it airs in Japan.
