Funimation Delays Evangelion 3.33 Blu-ray/DVD to Extend Theatrical Run

Funimation announced on Wednesday that it is delaying its Blu-ray Disc and DVD release of the third new Evangelion film "due to the overwhelming theatrical demand for Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo." The home video release of Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo was originally scheduled for next February, but is now to be determined.
The film will open in North American theaters starting January 10, 2014. Funimation is streaming an English-dubbed trailer.
