Lupin III vs. Detective Conan The Movie opened on 329 screens on Saturday, and earned 649,835,000 yen (about US$6,288,900) in its first two days to top the Japanese box office. It sold 539,132 tickets.
This film with the genius Detective Conan and the legendary thief Lupin III opened more than four years after the Lupin III vs. Detective Conan television special aired on NTV in 2009.
