posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The January 2014 issue of Shueisha's Saikyō Jump magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Toei Animation is creating the Majin Bone anime project. Yūsuke Murata (Eyeshield 21, One-Punch Man) is designing the characters for the new anime.
More information about the project will be announced at the Jump Festa 2014 event on December 21-22. Bandai will also have a playable Majin Bone card game available at its booth at the event.
Shueisha will launch a manga version in the February issue of Saikyō Jump on January 4. The magazine is publishing a prologue in the January issue. Naoya Sugita (Zan, SWOT) is drawing the manga, Bandai is credited with the original plan, and Izumi Todo, the collective pseudonym for Toei Animation's staff, is credited with the original story.
Bandai had registered both the "majinbone.com" and "majinbone.net" domains on November 21.
