Konami announced on Monday that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is slated for a Spring 2014 release in North America and Europe. Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu reports that the Japanese release date is unknown.
Konami also confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V consists of two separate games: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes provides the backstory behind the events in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
