Sony Teases PocketStation Announcement in Video

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia began streaming a teaser video on Thursday that reveals a "major announcement" about PocketStation will be made on November 5. In the video, a woman acting as a television reporter and a "game industry analyst" track a truck that has "top secret" written on its side.
PocketStation is a memory card peripheral for Sony's original PlayStation console. Sony released stand-alone software for the device as well as PocketStation extras to use with existing PlayStation games. Sony released PocketStation in Japan in 1999, and announced in 2002 that production had stopped.
