Funimation, Robert Rodriguez' AUM Win Bullet Film Dispute

Funimation and Robert Rodriguez' American United Media (AUM) won an injunction against director Nick Lyon over Bullet, a live-action film that the companies are producing and Lyon had signed on to direct. A judge has ordered Lyon to not interfere further with the development of the film. Lyon signed onto the project in 2012, when he agreed to write and direct the project. Funimation claimed that Lyon, along with production company SC Films, were challenging Funimation's right to control of the film as well as disparaging the company's name.
