Tecmo KOEI Games Europe began streaming the second trailer on Thursday for the Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z game. The video, which introduces the character Miss Monday, highlights Yaiba's cyborg improvements including his reflexes, his eye, and his arm.

Comcept and Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive series) are collaborating with Spark Unlimited on the game. The game will star a new ninja named Yaiba, who is chasing after Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden video game. Hayabusa had killed Yaiba, but then Yaiba was brought back to life with cyber-tchnology as a cyborg ninja. He uses both a ninja sword and mecha weapons in his cyborg arm.
Keiji Inafune (Rockman/Megaman) had revealed the game in an announcement trailer in September 2012. Inafune remarked at the time that since he is associated as a "zombie lover," he wanted to create a zombie game. He also noted that he thought up the concept for the game soon after becoming an independent game developer, and the game will be filled with things that he likes: zombies, action, ninja, and mecha.
The trailer reveals that the game will ship in Europe on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and on Steam on February 28, 2014. The game will then launch in North America on March 4.
