Pokemon X & Y's Data-Saving Bug Patched

Nintendo announced that a patch to fix the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y data-saving bug is available for download through the Nintendo eShop as of Friday. Nintendo apologized for the inconvenience and "strongly recommend[s]" that all players download and install the update.
The application fixes a reported bug that freezes the game when players save their game in certain areas of Lumiose City and then reload the save file. The patch also fixes reported errors that occur when players use some functions of the Global Trade Station (GTS) feature.
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y shipped for the Nintendo 3DS worldwide on October 12.
