2nd Kaiketsu Zorori Family Feature Film's Trailer Posted

The full trailer for Sunrise's Kaiketsu Zorori Mamoru ze! Kyōryū no Tamago (The Incredible Zorori Will Protect Them! The Dinosaur Egg) family adventure anime film began streaming last month. The film is the second animated feature based on Yutaka Hara's popular children's book series. The first film, Kaiketsu Zorori Da-Da-Da-Daibōken!, opened last year.
In the story, Zorori with his friends Ishishi and Noshishi get an invitation from their friend, a mother dinosaur, to come see a dinosaur egg that will hatch soon. The group receives a warm welcome when they arrive at the legendary dinosaur island. However, a huge typhoon hits the island and the egg goes missing. Zorori goes on a quest to save the egg and return it safely to its family.
Tomoko Iwasaki (producer of The Legend of the Legendary Heroes) is returning to direct the second film at the studios Sunrise and Asia-Do. Iwasaki also several of the 2004-2005 Kaiketsu Zorori television anime series' television episodes.
Hara's books also inspired a 1993 film, a 2004-2005 television anime series, a second television anime from 2005 to 2007, and a second film in 2006. (These earlier films were short works that were screened with other anime.)
The film will open in theaters in Japan on December 14. Participating theaters are selling advance tickets with a "Kaiketsu Zorori Treasure Drawstring Pouch," and filmgoers will receive a mystery gift when they see film.
