Tokyo Game Show Draws Record 270,197 Visits in 4 Days

This year's Tokyo Game Show recorded 270,197 visits during the four-day event, an increase of 46,444 from last year's record-breaking 223,753 number. This year's event was held at the Makuhari Messe event hall in Chiba from September 19-22.
The first two days were open to business personnel only and recorded 52,354 visits (up 1.0% from last year). 352 companies and organizations exhibited from a record 33 countries. The third and fourth days were open to the public. The third day drew 102,399 visits, while the fourth and final day drew 115,444 visits.
The convention will return to Makuhari Messe next year and will run from September 18-21.
A person who attended to all four days of Tokyo Game Show would be counted four times under the tallying system the event uses.
